Flânerie: The Whispers of Color

Galerie Pierre 36th Anniversary Exhibition

As Galerie Pierre celebrates its 36th anniversary, the gallery presents its annual exhibition, Flânerie: The Whispers of Color, curated by Professor Chang Hwei-Lan, whose longstanding research in color aesthetics explores the relationships between architecture, space, and visual perception. Taking “color” as its point of departure, the exhibition extends into light, materiality, memory, and environment, exploring the sensations and experiences accumulated through our encounters with different places and the passage of time.

Bringing together seven artists, the exhibition responds to these themes through diverse artistic practices that span urban landscapes, architecture and nature, memories of life, material traces, and sensory experiences. We invite you to step into the exhibition and embark on a perceptual journey guided by color—to “see” the frequencies of sound, “touch” the weight of time, and even sense the unseen presence of scent, as you freely wander between art and space.
