Since 2007, Taiwan has won a total of 96 FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards, including 37 gold awards and 59 silver awards. Taiwan's architectural works passed the rigorous review process of the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award and were recommended to participate in the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Award, winning gold and silver awards in different categories, proving that Taiwan's architectural standards are on par with the world and have been recognized by peers in the international real estate industry.
Chang Lily, president of The Real Estate Association of R.O.C. and the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate, and representatives from the Nantou Branch of the Forestry and Conservation Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Mass Rapid Transit Engineering Bureau of the New Taipei City Government, Huang Yu Wen Architects, Taoyuan City Housing and Urban Renewal Center and other award-winning organizations attended the award ceremony and shared the glorious moment.
This year's two gold award works are Taoyuan City Housing and Urban Renewal Center - Taoyuan City Central Road No. 3 Social Housing, which won the award in the Affordable Housing category; Yunlin County Government - Yunlin Creek Upper, Middle and Lower Reaches Overall Water Environment Landscape Project, which won the award in the Public Sector Infrastructure/Environmental Comfort Project category. President Chang Lily said that in the past two years, outstanding architectural works from various countries have been competing fiercely, and it is not easy to stand out from the many international works and win awards. This year, both the public and private sectors in Taiwan have won awards in the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Awards. It is hoped that more works will be nominated for the FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award in the future and qualify for the FIABCI World Prix d'Excellence Award. Through healthy competition with outstanding architectural works from around the world, we will improve Taiwan's overall construction quality, thereby promoting the vigorous development of the real estate industry. We hope that the spirit of "Strive for excellence! Honor the world! Taiwan shines!" will continue to shine on the international stage.
