龍寶建設董事長張麗莉原是個家庭主婦，因緣際會下考上了室內設計師的證照。40年前，從美國返台，因協助先生的事業，而創立了龍寶建設。
還有一件讓人津津樂道的事。早年，張麗莉加入中華民國不動產協進會，當時此協會積極加入世界不動產聯盟，成為旗下分會。不過，在協會中，台灣的名稱被稱為“Chinese Taiwan”，這個名稱在張麗莉心中，一直是個遺憾。直到她2017年爭取選上理事會一席，成功的把Chinese Taipei改成Taiwan，那一刻，她讓世界看到了台灣。
